Sennheiser HDV 820

Dit is Sennheisers top hoofdtelefoonversterker met ingebouwde DAC (op de extreem kostbare Orpheus 2 na natuurlijk). De zeer goede ESS SABRE32 DAC speelt PCM af tot 32 bits / 384 kHz en DSD256. Het versterkergedeelte is verder verbeterd en speelt met nog minder vervorming. Naast de gebruikelijke 6,3mm aansluiting vinden we een gebalanceerde 4-pin XLR en twee 4,4mm Pentacon aansluitingen. De HDV 820 is flexibel in te passen door het grote aantal digitale en analoge ingangen. Hij speelt natuurlijk zeer goed in een compleet Sennheiser systeem met bijvoorbeeld de HD660S en de HD800 of 800S. Maar ook in combinatie met koptelefoons van vreemde merken zijn de resultaten zeer goed.

The amplifier is also capable of playing DSD256 files of up to 12.3 MHz.

The compatibility: Outstanding sound will find a way

With a breadth of audio outputs that include XLR3, XLR4, 6.3 mm- and a 4.4 mm Pentaconn socket, it is easy to find the optimal way to connect your headphones with the HDV 820. It performs brilliantly with digital sources, whether optically, coaxially, or via USB, and features balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) analogue inputs. The HDV 820 also comes supplied with a dedicated, country-specific power cable.
